What is My Case Worth?

Today’s question is: What is My Case Worth?

It’s a very common question but it is also a very difficult question for me to answer because it’s dependent on many factors.
First I want to determine liability, is the person that you are making a claim against 100% at fault or did your actions in any way contribute to your injuries?

Next I want to determine the extent of your damages:
1. What’s the severity of your injuries? Are these new or aggravations of just preexisting injuries?
2. What are your total medical expenses and lost wages to date? What are they anticipated to be in the future?
3. Is the defendant an individual or a corporation?
4. Are they insured, if so, by whom?

These are just a few of the many factors I go into to determine the fair value of a case.
